A year ago I wrote about the perils of Bisphenol A. News hit the wire today that Health Canada is on the verge of classifying it as a dangerous substance. ___ If you eat canned food or drink from a can or hard plastic bottles, chances are good that you've ingested Bisphenol A. A controversy is now raging over the safety of the chemical, which acts like a synthetic female sex hormone. Bisphenol A may be responsible for a number of health risks. This is the April/May 2008 issue of "donna hay" magazine. My first ever! An indulgence for me personally at $7.95 but the clincher was the free notebook it came with called "note to self". It has lovely stripes of (whose?) signature duck egg blue and white (like in the magazine border above) with some elastic around the middle to keep it shut. I like elastic around notebooks.
